We read with interest the article by Liao et al. titled “Safety and immunogenicity of hepatitis E vaccine in compensated liver cirrhosis with chronic hepatitis B[1].” The authors observed high seroconversion rates (100% in cirrhotic patients one month after the three-dose regimen, with 82.8% achieving robust anti-HEV IgG levels), alongside a favorable short-term safety profile (no serious adverse events attributable to vaccination).
