African Swine Fever -- ChinaChina reported an outbreak of African swine fever [ASF] in Xinjiang region, the agriculture ministry said on Wednesday [24 Mar 2021].
The outbreak occurred on a farm in Yili prefecture with 466 pigs, and 280 pigs died, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said in a statement, adding that the remaining pigs had been culled.
